We’re queer, we’re here and we’re the queer platform of Eindhoven.
That means we host events throughout the year and can often we be found at other queer-oriented events. To us being queer means that we get to be proud about who we are and that if someone is different from the norm it makes them beautiful and powerful.
Our events are usually hosted at Plug-In City Strijp-S or TAC Eindhoven. They can range from a club party to a poetry reading. If possible, there won’t be an entrance fee. Being queer is a right, not a privilege. We produce our events based off contributions, membership fees and funding. All our organizer work as unpaid volunteers.
So whether you are bi, straight, pan, gay, enby, cis, trans, orienting, curious, excited or a fan of glitters, you are welcome at our events. We believe that everyone needs a safe space, queer people particularly, but that an open space allows us to flourish more than anything.
DayDayGay is a union. That means we have members who pay a 25,- euro fee every six months to help us
- Pay (queer) performers and artists at our events
- Invest in materials
- Put our events out there through (social) media
These members, obviously, get a say in how things are run. There are invited to quietly contribute, but are more than welcome to set up events and help run the collective.
DayDayGay is an open queer platform, so if you believe there’s more to life than what is normal, join us and support your queer-peers.
You will be sent an email to confirm you’ll pay the membership fees via a pre-authorized withdrawal
You can find our house rules, which dictate the general runnings of daydaygay here. (So far, only available in Dutch)
You’ll be notified about general assemblies and other important happenings.
